Russ Jackson gathered parts to build a disabled Navy Veteran a rifle because he had none nor enough money to buy the necessary parts. He was able to acquire from private individuals and companies the parts needed and in the process launched what we know today as Marksmen for Vets.
Russ has continued these types of builds for Veterans through the generosity of private individuals and companies who believed Marksmen for Vets is a great venture. Sometimes he has to buy the parts himself, which is difficult since he does just enough to make ends meet. Now, with the help of Bradford Jackson (no relation), Marksmen for Vets has been able to complete more builds. In addition, they now manage Facebook and Instagram accounts for the Marksmen for Vets organization.
Russ relies on donations from private individuals as well as companies to get these builds done.
As a sign of appreciation, Russ tags all donors both corporate & private on as many social media pages that he frequents.
