Jay is the Owner and Technical Director of PEW Science.  He is also a licensed and practicing Professional Engineer who manages one of the largest blast testing laboratories in the world.  His professional practice and research areas include anti-terrorism/force protection, dynamic structural analysis, design, litigation support, and testing in response to energetic events and weapons effects.  He has consulted and developed technologies for the warfighter, US Service Labs, Department of State, Center for Disease Control, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Intelligence Community, and significant parties in the world-wide private energy sector.  He’s also a gun guy.
